1. Welcome

Welcome. These are the rules for using Chosen Recovery LLC's services at chosenrecovery.com.

Short version: by using our service, you agree to follow these rules. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

This document explains what you can do, what we provide, and what happens if something goes wrong.

2. What we provide

Chosen Recovery LLC provides a mobile app you can download to your phone or tablet.

  • The service may change over time as we add new features.
  • Sometimes we need to do maintenance, which may cause brief downtime.
  • We will try to give you notice before major changes.

3. Your account

Your account is your responsibility. This means:

  • Use accurate information when signing up.
  • Keep your password secret and do not share it.
  • Notify us immediately if someone else accesses your account: [email protected].
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.

To close your account, contact us at [email protected] or use your account settings.

4. Access rules

  • Do not share, publish, or sell access codes.
  • We may revoke access at any time.

5. Payments & billing

Subscription billing.

  • You'll be charged at the start of each billing period.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel.
  • Cancel anytime from your account settings or by emailing [email protected].

Refunds. We don't offer refunds except where required by law. To request a refund, contact [email protected].

Price changes. We may change our prices, but we will give you notice first.

6. Rules of use

Don't misuse the service. You agree not to:

  • Break the law.
  • Harm, harass, or threaten others.
  • Pretend to be someone else.
  • Send spam or unwanted messages.
  • Try to hack or break the service.
  • Overload our servers with automated requests.

We may suspend or ban accounts that break these rules.

7. Copyright claims

If you believe someone is using your copyrighted work without permission, contact us at [email protected] with:

  • A description of your copyrighted work.
  • Where you found the infringing content.
  • Your contact information.
  • A statement that you own the rights or are authorized to act.
  • A statement that the information is accurate.

We will investigate and may remove the content.

8. Our property

  • We own our app, code, and content (except what you create).
  • Do not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute our app.
  • Do not use our name or logo without permission.
  • Your use of the service does not give you ownership of anything.

9. Your privacy

Your privacy matters. Our Privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

EU/EEA users have rights under GDPR. California residents have rights under CCPA/CPRA.

10. Age requirement

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use this service.
  • If you are under 13, please do not use the service.
  • By using the service, you confirm you meet this age requirement.

11. Beta features

  • Beta features are still being tested and may have bugs.
  • They may change or be removed at any time.
  • Use beta features at your own risk.

12. Service availability

  • We aim for high uptime but cannot guarantee 100% availability.
  • Scheduled maintenance will be announced when possible.
  • Emergencies may require urgent fixes without notice.

Target uptime: 99.9% monthly (about 44 minutes of downtime allowed).

Downtime caused by your equipment, your internet, or force majeure events is not counted.

13. Third-party services

Our service uses third-party services. A few things to know:

  • We are not responsible for how third-party services operate.
  • Each has its own terms and privacy policies.
  • Sharing data with them is governed by their policies.
  • Common integrations we use: Supabase, Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Render.

14. No guarantees & disclaimers

  • We try our best, but the service may have bugs or downtime.
  • We cannot guarantee it will meet all your needs.
  • Any educational or training content is for general information only and is not professional advice.
  • Use at your own risk. Back up important data.

15. Limits on our liability

If something goes wrong, our responsibility is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

We are not liable for:

  • Lost profits or data.
  • Indirect or consequential damages.
  • Third-party actions.
  • Force majeure events.

16. Events beyond our control

  • Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, hurricanes).
  • War, terrorism, or civil unrest.
  • Government actions or regulations.
  • Pandemics or public health emergencies.
  • Internet or power outages.
  • Cyberattacks on third-party systems.
  • Labor strikes or shortages.

We will try to resume service as soon as possible and keep you informed about major outages.

17. Protecting us

  • You agree to cover us if we face claims caused by your use of the service.
  • This includes content you create or share.
  • It also applies if you break these terms or the law.

18. Disputes & governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, specifically Delaware.

Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Delaware. No class actions are allowed — claims must be individual.

19. Ending your use

  • You can leave anytime by contacting [email protected] or using account settings.
  • We may terminate your access if you break the rules.
  • You can export your data before leaving. Certain obligations, like liability limits, survive termination.

20. Changes to these terms

  • We may update these terms.
  • We will post new terms on this page.
  • For major changes, we will give at least 30 days' notice.
  • Continuing to use the service means you accept the changes.
